Samuel Scott joined Truxton in 2020 and serves as a Vice President for Truxton Capital Advisors. Mr. Scott works with family and founder-owned businesses in the lower middle-market through the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises and advisory services. In 2024 Mr. Scott earned his Charter Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. He also serves as Vice President, Portfolio Manger with Truxton Wealth where he contributes equity research as a member of the Truxton Investment Committee and is responsible for the management of client accounts.

Prior to joining Truxton, Mr. Scott graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
