William Benson is Vice President of Truxton Banking. He is responsible for the development and delivery of customized banking solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and organizations. He joined Truxton in June 2020 from CapStar Bank, where he served as Vice President of Private Banking and as Healthcare Portfolio Manager. Prior to CapStar, he was at Regions Financial Corporation.
Mr. Benson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. He is active in the community and currently serves on the Executive Committee as Past Chair for the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center Ambassadors and is a member of the Young Leaders Society with United Way of Greater Nashville. He previously served as a Young Alumni Board Member and Alumni Board Member at Montgomery Bell Academy and The Ensworth School, respectively, and is also an alumnus of Young Leaders Council.
