Spence Dabbs is a Managing Director and Senior Wealth Advisor for Truxton Wealth. He leads Truxton’s Wealth Advisor team.
Spence joined Truxton in 2014 and rose to the role of Managing Director in 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has worked with individuals and families, business owners, and non-profit and foundation boards. He is responsible for tax strategy, wealth planning, trust and estate administration, balance sheet management, investment strategies, and coordinating with professionals internal and external to Truxton. His responsibilities for the Wealth team also involve strategy, recruiting, training, and business development.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Birmingham Southern College, where he graduated cum laude and was a Hess Leadership Fellow. He earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law, where he was elected as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and was chosen as a Student Attorney for the Civil Litigation Clinic. He is a licensed Tennessee attorney, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, member of the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council, and serves on the Tennessee Bankers Association’s Trust Committee. He serves as a member of the Finance Committee for West End United Methodist Church in Nashville.
