Mr. Skipp leads Truxton Capital Advisors, the boutique capital markets arm of Truxton, offering comprehensive strategic and capital advisory services to businesses and the families who own them. His responsibilities include sell-side M&A advisory, corporate banking & debt capital markets, and direct private credit lending.
Mr. Skipp joined Truxton in 2018 from FirstBank, where he was a portfolio manager for commercial and corporate banking. Prior to that, he was with Franklin Synergy Bank. Mr. Skipp received his Bachelor of Science from The University of Mississippi and his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, with highest honors, from Lipscomb University. He currently serves on the committee for the Nashville Chapter of Delta Waterfowl and is a member of Phoenix Club of Nashville, an organization for young professional men that raises money in social settings for the benefit of disadvantaged youth in Middle Tennessee.
