John Gleason serves as an Associate Wealth Advisor for Truxton Wealth. He is responsible for monitoring clients’ investment strategies, trust and estate administration, tax, estate, and retirement planning, and coordinating efforts of other professional advisors both internal and external to Truxton. In addition to his role as a wealth advisor, Mr. Gleason is responsible for providing comprehensive strategic tax advice to our clients, their trusts and estates, and business entities. Prior to joining Truxton in November 2023, Mr. Gleason served as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young where he worked on a variety of public and private companies.
Mr. Gleason graduated cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and he earned his Masters of Accountancy from Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Mr. Gleason serves on the Furman University Young Alumni Council and is a member of the Economic Club of Nashville.
