Lynn H. May

Senior Vice President (2004-2007) and Founder

Lynn May is a co-founder of Truxton Trust and served as Senior Vice President, Private Banking from the company’s inception until her retirement in 2007.  Prior to Truxton Trust, she served in the banking industry for over 25 years as a private banker/first vice president at Third National/SunTrust bank. 

Prior to her banking career, Ms. May taught in Metro Nashville high schools and was a teacher, administrator, and development director at Oak Hill School.  She served for 12 years as a deacon and 18 years as an elder, as well as being a Sunday School teacher and chair of various committees, at First Presbyterian Church.  Ms. May has served on the board of Oak Hill School, Richland Place, and the Friends of the Libraries at Vanderbilt. She is a past president of the Nashville Vanderbilt Club, The Centennial Club, Le Petit Salon, Friday Literary Club, the Friends of the Libraries at Vanderbilt, and the Nashville Women’s Breakfast Club, a professional women’s group she founded.
