Charles Vance is a Vice President, Wealth Advisor for Truxton Wealth. He is responsible for monitoring clients’ investment strategies, trust and estate administration, tax, estate, and retirement planning, and coordinating efforts of other professional advisors both internal and external to Truxton. In addition to his role as a Wealth Advisor, Mr. Vance serves as the Director of Security for Truxton. Prior to joining Truxton, Mr. Vance served on the Metro Nashville Police Department for 29 years, retiring as a Sergeant. During his tenure, Mr. Vance held various positions within the department and retired as head of compliance for the MNPD.

Mr. Vance earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University. He also earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law, where he received the prestigious Luther E. ‘Pete’ Cantrell, Jr.  scholarship as well as the Faculty & Trustee scholarship. He was inducted as a member into Cooper’s Inn, the school’s honor society denoting the top ten percent of graduates.  Mr. Vance’s law practice centered around estate planning and probate prior to his arrival at Truxton Trust.
