Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Austin Branstetter serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Truxton Trust. He joined Truxton in December 2019 as the Vice President of Finance, responsible for managing the bank’s bond and derivative portfolios, asset-liability exposures, and liquidity profile in addition to working on investor relations, annual budgeting, and strategic planning.  Prior to Truxton Trust, Mr. Branstetter led the institutional sales effort for hedging equity-linked liabilities at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he also structured bank funding vehicles with embedded derivatives.

Mr. Branstetter graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Nashville, where he currently serves as a board member and the Treasurer.
