Summary

The Client Service Specialist (the Position) provides critical processing, operational, administrative and customer service support to Wealth Management Services’ (WMS) team of Wealth Advisors.  The Position supports the client experience through direct client interaction and internal coordination with WMS team members to deliver premium client service.  The Position’s primary activities include new client onboarding, account maintenance, document creation and maintenance, handling general client inquiries, accurately documenting client transactions in the trust accounting system, preparing client reports and correspondence and facilitating cash movements.  The Position will interface with clients over the phone, in written communications and in person deepening client relationships.  Additionally, the Position will serve as a liaison with WMS Operations to ensure daily client service activities are as effective and efficient as possible.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate well and foster strong working relationships with Wealth Advisors and the broader Truxton team including Portfolio Managers, Operations Staff and Private Bankers,
  • Field and answer client calls, schedule client meetings and execute actions related to client requests,
  • Be effective in utilizing core systems including our primary trust accounting system following established department standards,
  • Develop and maintain practice deliverables and standards to ensure consistency and quality of WMS work products,
  • Assist in analytical work supporting new business opportunities and client presentations,
  • Participate in client meetings and remain engaged with the client relationship management process,
  • Plan and organize effectively to complete all tasks and responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner,
  • Maintain a strong understanding of custody, agency, retirement and trust accounts,
  • Work effectively both in a team and individual environment,
  • Be proactive in completing work and advancing the goals of the company,
  • Service clients in a highly professional, polite and personalized manner,
  • Work within established WMS policies, procedures and guidelines,

  • Provide world-class service to our clients in a prompt, accurate and professional manner,
  • Support general administrative needs and back-up duties as necessary,
  • Leverage time and create capacity for Wealth Advisors and the WMS team,
  • Help in coordinating arrangements for client meetings,
  • Demonstrate an exceptionally positive attitude and embrace teamwork, &
  • Ethically represent Truxton Trust in all interactions with vendors and customers

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred,
  • Ability to pursue a professional designation (CFP, CTFA, CFA, etc.),
  • Experience in a professional services firm preferred,
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment,
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work,
  • Strong written and verbal skills,
  • A Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and strong organizational skills,
  • Ability to work independently and under time constraints, &  
  • General computing skills and a strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
